Since 1996, Giana has been a professional cyclist – and at times simultaneously competing as a professional equestrian. She has raced for the US National Team, The Saturn Cycling Team, The Timex Team, Team Speed Queen, Proman Women’s Team, and Elita.

She represented the US internationally at many events including the World Championships and is a former World Champion, National Champion, and member of the International Cycling Hall of Fame. She continues her legacy through her Team Speed Queen consulting practice.
